This course looks at conflict resolution in the workplace. It introduces a range of approaches for handling confrontational situations and provides techniques and advice on the best ways to handle and avoid conflicts with other members of staff or members of the public.

This course is for anyone who works in frontline services, including care and support workers, or staff who deal with members of the public.
What are the outcomes?
On completion of this training course, participants will be able to:
- Recognise factors that can be trigger points in conflict situations
- Understand and apply conflict resolution techniques
- Identify methods of communication that can be used when dealing with difficult conversations
This course does not include breakaway techniques.
