Hoople offers apprenticeship programmes in health and social care, childcare (including teaching assistants), business and administration, customer service, team leadership and dental nursing.
Applications to the programmes are accepted throughout the year. Some programmes (business administration and customer service apprenticeships) operate on a 'rolling programme' and so can be started at any time (subject to employer placement). Our health and social care and childcare programmes generally have two intakes per year—in September/October and January/February.
Hoople's apprenticeship programmes generally last from 12–18 months. For the first 12 months of your apprenticeship, you will be eligible for the National Minimum Wage for Apprentices (currently set at £3.50 per hour). If your apprenticeship lasts more than 12 months, you will be paid the National Minimum Wage for your age group for the remaining period. Employers can, of course, choose to pay you more.
