What does the new Supply Teaching and Temporary Staff in Education Framework mean for Herefordshire schools?

I am pleased to share that Hoople Recruitment is a supplier for the Crown Commercial Services Supply Teaching and Temporary Staff in Educational Establishments Framework. (It’s a mouthful, I know).
But what does the framework mean for schools in and around Herefordshire?
We are the only agency in Herefordshire to have been listed on the framework. It is designed to ensure agencies comply with DfE and REC regulations, whilst offering a cost effective, quality service to clients and agency staff.
We believe this is a huge step forwards to increase the safeguarding of children in schools and educational settings throughout Herefordshire.
The agreement not only ensures that supply staff are checked against our own standards of pre-employment checks such as face to face interviews and criminal records checks, but it also proves we are above board with the DfE.
The fees agreed within the framework can’t be increased either, meaning schools have the security that our fees are fair and cost effective across the board.
You can also transfer your temporary workers to permanent employers with no finder’s fees if they have been in post for 12 weeks and you have given 4 weeks’ notice to the supplier.
So all in all being part of the framework means Hoople Recruitment are playing their part in safeguarding children throughout Herefordshire, and I am proud to be a part of that!
