Fully funded IT training - 2018 dates announced!

Monday 15 January 2018 4.35pm

New dates have been announced for Hoople's fully funded IT training courses running between January – June 2018. Please view the schedule of forthcoming course dates

Thanks to funding via the Marches Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), the training covers basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Access. Both City and Guilds and Hoople accredited courses are available.

All courses will be held in the Hoople Training Centre in Venn’s Lane, Hereford. Alternatively, businesses can opt for in-house courses (subject to a minimum number of six delegates).

Many Herefordshire based organisations have already benefited from the free training. Anna Green, HR Business Partner at AK Industries in Hereford, says: “It is great that there is still 100% funding available for core IT skills development, such as Microsoft Excel. Hoople’s IT trainer, Lesley Robinson, delivered onsite, on dates to suit us. The course was very useful and informative and we all benefited from it. We will be booking on more of our employees shortly!”

Fully funded training opportunities are also available in a number of Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) programme modules as well as specific courses targeted at the health and social care sector.

To be eligible for funding, participants must be employed within small to medium sized organisations (fewer than 250 employees) operating within Herefordshire. They will also be required to complete an Organisational Training Needs Analysis form, with which Hoople staff can assist.
