Safeguarding students discuss digni-tree
Thursday 24 March 2016 11.40am
Students attending a recent Hoople Adult Safeguarding course put the digni-tree to good use as they discussed the comments submitted by various Herefordshire care providers.
Dignity Action Day was recognised on 1 February when Hoople asked local care providers to jot down on a 'leaf' what dignity meant in their care setting. These formed a highly relevant basis for discussion by the learners on the Safeguarding course.
The digni-tree remains in place at the Hoople Training Centre and will be used as a learning aid by future cohorts, when appropriate.
