In partnership with Edenred, Herefordshire Council are funding a retail and leisure employee benefits portal; this will be exclusively available for the external care provider market. With savings of up to £1,000 per family for the employee and a saving to the employer of up to £1,500 per year for setup it is a win, win for retention.
This portal, which is due to be implemented in March/April 2018, will be free to the care providers across Herefordshire and will deliver regular discounts at over 200 outlets across the country. These include retail and leisure discounts, eg:
- Argos – 5% discount
- B&Q – 8% discount
- PC World – 7% discount
- Merlin Entertainment passes – 25% discount
There are many more that your staff will be able to access.
Employee benefits have been used across the corporate world for a long time to assist with retention. It is hoped that this portal will assist you in the same way.
Please would care providers contact Paula Warrilow to register an interest in the employee benefits scheme. The providers who register will be contacted for further information about their staff and to be given a login for the portal. Providers who do not register upfront will not be able to access the portal in their own right.
