Reporting to: Chair of Parish Council and Councillors

Duration: Permanent

Hours: 10 hours per week

Location: Based on working at home and in Fownhope

This role is being re-advertised as successful applicant had to withdraw due to unexpected change in family circumstances.
If you are a motivated, enthusiastic individual and think that you would enjoy managing the administration and operation of council business we want to hear from you! You must be computer literate (e-mail, Word, Excel), with good communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to organise your workload unsupervised.

This paid post – which offers 10 hours work per week - includes attendance at one evening meeting per month (usually held on the first Wednesday) and occasional attendance at other meetings.
Ideally applicants should have previous experience within the parish council sector or some other area that involves a high level of administrative skills.
It is a requirement that applicants who do not hold the CiLCA (Certificate in Local Council Administration) qualification, must be willing to gain that qualification as soon as possible. Training costs will be met by the Parish Council.
