Location: Holme Lacy Hereford with some travel within the county
Hours: To be confirmed but approx. 15-20 hours per month.
Qualifications: Variable, degree level/social work/horticulture
Role responsibility: To plan and deliver sessions of horticulture to small groups of disabled adults and young people at our facility at Holme Lacy or in residential care settings.
Herefordshire Growing Point is a well-established charity providing sessions of tutor led horticulture to groups of disabled people. We work with individuals and care providers throughout the county.
We are currently seeking an additional part-time tutor or tutors to enable us to expand our activities.
Applicants should have a good grasp of horticultural principles, ideally experience of working with people with disabilities, a caring empathetic approach, preferably some teaching experience, an ability to travel to residential settings in the county and a desire to become involved in the charity.
