The Bishop Anthony Educational Trust are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Clerk(s) to Governors for schools within the Trust in the South Shropshire, North Herefordshire areas.

We have a current vacancy at Ludlow Junior School, this post will be available from September 2017.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and administrative skills and be able to deal with all governing body business matters confidentially.

Under the guidance of the Bishop Anthony Trust and the Chair of the Local Governing Body, duties will include preparing and distribution of agendas, minute taking, handling of correspondence and advising the Governors on procedures.

Attendance will be required at Full Governing Body and Committee Meetings (approximately 6 in total per year). Most meetings are held late afternoon or in the evening. Access to a computer is essential and candidates should have good IT skills. Experience in procedures and minute taking is desirable but not essential, as training and support will be available through the Bishop Anthony Educational Trust.
