Job details

Are you a forward thinking, creative, knowledgeable and outstanding practitioner? Do you have the drive to succeed and to motivate your students and staff to excel?

We are looking for an ambitious person who wants to further develop the delivery of Humanities at Kingstone.  This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented colleague who is eager to move into a positive and rewarding middle leadership post.  You will be an excellent team player with high expectations and an ability to inspire, enthuse and challenge students to raise standards of achievement at all levels.

The successful candidate will deliver high quality lessons at both KS3 and KS4, across the age and ability range, and ignite the enthusiasm of students.  You will be joining a very supportive teaching team committed to promoting enjoyment and high achievement for all of our students.  With consistent year on year improvements, our results make us one of the top schools in Herefordshire. An ability to teach History would be an advantage, but not essential.

We offer

  • A school with a strong commitment to your professional development
  • A working environment focused on Teaching and Learning and raising standards for all
  • The opportunity to work in a staff team where your skills, enthusiasm and hard work will be appreciated

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All vacancies that involve working with vulnerable adults and/or children will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check at Enhanced Level, along with other standard pre-employment checks.
