2 Teaching Support Assistants
Permanent Variable Contract - Required As Soon As Possible
10-20 hours per week starting at 17 hours
The Aconbury Centre is a vibrant Pupil Referral Centre for 11-14 year old students who, for a variety of reasons, do not attend mainstream school. You will work in a warm, welcoming environment where every member of staff has the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of some of the County’s most spirited young people.
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Support Assistants to provide individual support to students in core subjects such as English and Mathematics and contribute to classroom practice. We would like to hear from you if:-

you have previous experience of working with young people, preferably in Key Stage 3
-
you have enthusiasm and a strong commitment to achievement, safeguarding and welfare of all children

you have excellent communication skills
-
you have a sense of humour, and the ability to inject fun into learning

you have realistic expectations of pupil behaviour, giving the varying personal, social and emotional issues our students have to deal with
-
you are flexible, accommodating and a team player
Successful candidates will be required to work across the service (three locations).
