A new position has arisen within our Waste Services Contract Team. This is an opportunity for a dynamic individual to assist in the management of a high value, waste disposal, treatment and service contract for Worcestershire County Council and Herefordshire Council.
Working within the Waste Services Team - the role will focus primarily upon assisting the Waste Operations Manager in monitoring and managing a multi-million pound Waste Service Contract including an Energy from Waste facility.
Duties include monitoring waste tonnage inputs, managing contract requirements and acting as a point of contact for relevant Waste Collection Authorities and partner authorities for day to day operational issues.
Furthermore, part of the role will include working with other team members supporting them in the delivery of other waste reduction initiatives.
Qualified to Degree level in an Environmental related subject / WAMITAB Level 4 or with significant experience in a similar role, you will be a highly motivated individual, able to liaise effectively with and work alongside a wide range of stakeholders and be comfortable managing financial and statistical data.
A current driving licence and daily access to a vehicle is required.
