Call out for Board Members (Voluntary)
|Organisation||The Courtyard, Herefordshire’s Centre for the Arts|
|Closing date||5 pm on 31 January 2018|
The Courtyard Trust wishes to increase and diversify the membership of its Board and is seeking three dynamic and committed individuals to support our further development and growth to build on our achievements. The Courtyard is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation.
Board Members play an important and integral role in providing advice through their personal expertise, robust internal governance and scrutiny, and externally by supporting our future development.
The Board meets quarterly, and in addition members are expected to join at least one of the sub-committees and attend guest nights for each in-house production. These are unpaid, non-executive roles and applicants should be passionate and effective advocates for the arts, willing and able to proactively support The Courtyard.
We are seeking those who have experience/an interest in one or more of the following areas: building links between health, education and theatre, finance, HR, digital expertise and an understanding of current trends in the arts. In addition, we are particularly keen to hear from those who would help broaden the diversity of our board in terms of gender, age, disability and ethnicity.
