Baby unit leader

We are looking to recruit a well -qualified, enthusiastic Leader to oversee our baby unit,

being two rooms with children’s’ ages split between 6 – 17 months and 17 – 30 months

old. The successful candidate will be based across the two rooms having a group of key

children whilst also holding responsibility to work with the unit team and with

management in providing a high level of care of the children, maximizing their learning

potential and work towards positive outcomes.

We are looking for applications from experienced Early Years practitioners (Room Lead

experience desired but not essential) who are dynamic, will relish responsibility for a

group of children and who have a passion for working within the ever- evolving Early

Years education arena.

Strong communication with parents/guardians as a Key Worker is essential as well as

robust leadership skills co-ordinating two teams, with support from the management

team.

Preferably full time 37hrs/wk although negotiable.

· Enhanced DBS check essential

· Up-to-date paediatric first aid desired but not essential

· All applicants must have a current and relevant Early Years qualification at Level

3. Please note that we cannot accept Health and Social Care or some CACHE

qualifications.

Applicants must have experience in working within a baby room and in providing care

and education.

Salary: Excellent remuneration for the right candidate – will be discussed at show

around and is dependent upon experience/qualification.

We provide all relevant PPE, as required and have robust cleaning regimes and risk

assessments that remain in place. You will be required to wear a face mask and to

sanitise during your visit. If you are using lateral flow testing, we would appreciate a

negative result prior to your visit.
