Lead Practitioner

An opportunity for an experienced and qualified level 3 Childcare Lead Practitioner to join our bespoke and well-established Nursery to lead our Barn Room which has children aged 18 months to 2 years of age.   

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience of working in a childcare setting and be able to lead a team of practitioners to ensure that all children in their care reach their full potential in a happy and friendly environment, following the children’s interest. You will have the support of an experienced Management.

This position is subject to a full DBS Check and two satisfactory references.

Contract for a minimum of 35 hours a week

A starting wage of £19,110 per annum

A sickness bonus scheme which is applicable after 5 years service

25% staff discount on childcare costs at the Nursery.

Nest pension options

Candidates must have

Level 3 or equivalent Childcare Qualification

Must be flexible to work between 7.00am and 6.00 pm all year round

Preferably experience of working with children aged 2 and under.

Desirable

Paediatric First Aid

Food and Hygiene level 2
