Administration Officer with responsibility for: Careers Advice & School Marketing
Required from September 2021
The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to recruit a person who will be responsible for Careers, Work Experience and Marketing of our school. We would like to hear from individuals that are passionate about education, highly motivated and have a commitment to learner achievement and success.
You will be responsible for planning and implementing:
A comprehensive careers programme to include impartial advice to students through face to face consultation and implementation of careers software.
Organisation and delivery of work experience.
Marketing of our school
The successful candidate will:
have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to high quality service delivery.
able to work with Curriculum Team Leaders, Teachers and Pastoral Mentors to embed the careers programme to ensure that Gatsby benchmarks are embedded into the school’s curriculum.
able to support students to have a successful transition
have a qualification in careers advice and guidance or a willingness to complete a relevant careers qualification within 12 months of commencing this role.
be available to work in school during exam results period in the summer holidays.
have enthusiasm and a strong commitment to achievement, safeguarding and welfare of all students
have humour, perspective and an ability to bring out the best in others
be supportive of the Christian ethos of the school
