We are looking to recruit a qualified Breakfast and After School Club Supervisor to join our team. this is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to develop their leadership skills in the childcare sector. Under the mentorship of our management team you will help lead a dynamic team in delivering high quality play for children aged 4-11 years of age and will actively support the Setting Manager in the development and daily management of our thriving and successful Breakfast and After School Club.
Applicants must have a positive, fun and enthusiastic outlook on life! Your duties will include assisting planning, delivering and overseeing activities. You should have a love of learning and understanding of child development; the ability to follow and contribute to our policies and procedures; and you must enjoy maintaining and developing a safe and stimulating learning environment. You should be motivated, caring and able to use your initiative and be able to provide a positive, safe and happy atmosphere.
Our chosen candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong teamwork abilities, a caring and calm attitude, and the ability to form close relationships with children, parents and staff.
Applicants should have NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Playwork, Childcare, Early Years or hold Qualified Teacher Status, and experience working with children aged 4 – 11 years. It is desirable, though not essential, that candidates hold a current paediatric first aid certificate and have attended recent safeguarding training.
