From January 2020, our governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic After School Club Supervisor to be responsible for the welfare and safety of our pupils at our after school club. You will organise the club on a day to day basis, keeping registers updated as well as other appropriate documentation, and work in line with school’s policies and procedures.
The successful candidate must be passionate and enthusiastic, enjoy the company of children, able to create a fun and creative working environment and have the ability to work on their own initiative.
We expect you to provide high quality play opportunities and care for the children in an inclusive environment in accordance with the ethos of the school. You are expected to plan and lead age appropriate activities as well as creating a warm, supportive and inviting atmosphere for the club. General duties include setting up of the venue, production and serving of snacks and tidying at the end of the day. We would like to hear from you if:-
- you have previous experience of working with children
- you have enthusiasm and a strong commitment to achievement, safeguarding and welfare of all children
- you have excellent communication skills
- you have a sense of humour, and the ability to inject fun into learning
- you have high expectations of pupil behaviour
- you are flexible, accommodating and a team player
