St Mary’s is a popular and oversubscribed Catholic school with a strong ethos. It enjoys a beautiful rural environment and is a very forward looking school. It has excellent support from governors and parents. The school facilities include a main school building, dating from the 1960s; part-use of an adjoining country house which comprises the RE and Music departments; an IT block; a Sports Hall and a recently constructed chapel.
The school is looking to appoint a Site Manager to maintain all of the school facilities. As well as managing other site staff the successful candidate will be expected to take a proactive role in the maintenance of the school buildings and grounds. This is a tremendous opportunity for the right candidate to further enhance the school facilities to provide a safe and stimulating environment for all.
A full, UK driving licence is required and the ability to work some unsocial hours when required to assist with out of hours school events.
St Mary’s is committed to safeguarding and all vacancies involving working with children and/or vulnerable adults are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Please note that only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
Interviews will be held during the week beginning Monday 4 September 2017.
