St Mary’s is a very successful and oversubscribed Catholic Secondary School. In our most recent Ofsted Inspection January 2019, we were rated as ‘Outstanding’ for overall effectiveness and all categories and ‘Excellent’ in our recent Section 48 Archdiocese Inspection. St Mary’s has high standards of behaviour and academic excellence and is consistently in the top 10% of schools throughout the country. We are seeking to appoint a Head of Music who will lead by example, develop, inspire, motivate and be committed to achieving high standards. The candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and team building skills. They should be an outstanding classroom practitioner, have enthusiasm for their subject and be capable of teaching Music across our full age and ability range. Candidates should preferably have previous experience in a position of responsibility, or be able to demonstrate a proven record of experience and achievement.
