An exciting opportunity…
The role of the Student Intervention Manager is to be responsible for the daily running of the Student Intervention Area. The post holder will work collaboratively with teaching staff with their responsibility for the development and education of children, including those with special educational, physical or emotional needs, by utilising advanced / high level knowledge and specialist skills across a range of specialist disciplines.
The post holder will work with such children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to set targets and promote a course of action that means the child may over-come any barriers to learning and fulfil their potential. The successful applicant will also have a role in conjunction with other members of staff in coordinating and delivering catch up sessions for those who may have fallen behind during the recent lockdown.
