Teaching Assistant SEN Level 1

Job details

We are looking for :

• An enthusiastic, conscientious, creative and organised Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team

• Flexibility, resilience and the ability to work as a team under the direction of others

• Experience of working within KS2

• An ability to empathise and work constructively developing positive relationships with children

• Excellent communication skills

• To support children with special educational needs in all learning activities, within and outside the classroom

• Support for individual children’s intervention programmes maintaining careful progress records and providing feedback to the class teacher and SENCo

• Engagement of children in play activities at break times

• Support with children’s personal care needs as necessary including Toileting.

• Attendance at meetings and training

• A sense of humour and the ability to inject fun into learning
