Our Lady’s is a vibrant and exciting school in the southern part of the city of Hereford. There are currently just under 200 pupils on roll. We pride ourselves on being a close knit, one form entry school with a strong feeling of community. This an excellent opportunity for a teacher to join our small, supportive and friendly team and provide outstanding opportunities for our pupils. You do not have to be a Catholic to teach at our school; all we ask is that you uphold our Christian values.

We would like to hear from candidates who are skilled in any area of the curriculum to teach across the primary age range. This role may include PPA across the school in the first instance so let us know your specialist subject areas.

Our governors are keen to appoint an outstanding classroom practitioner who will:

  • Swiftly build excellent relationships with our pupils.

  • Uphold the Christian ethos of our school.

  • Have enthusiasm to engage our pupils in exciting learning experiences.

  • Challenge and support all learners.

  • Become a vital part of our team.

At Our Lady’s you will find:

  • The same fun-loving, noisy and excitable children as you would in all schools.

  • A SLT that is driving high standards.

  • Supportive and positive families.

  • A warm welcome from all staff and governors.

  • The school to be a very happy, friendly and positive environment.

Visits to the school are highly recommended. Please note the rapid turnaround from shortlisting to interviews so that applicants can meet the 31st May deadline for resignations.
