We are looking to appoint an experienced and hard-working person to lead, manage and actively participate in the day-to-day organisation of the After School and Holiday Club, providing safe, stimulating and high-quality provision.


The successful person will be required to:

  • To lead the day-to-day management and organisation of the After School & Holiday Club

  • To line manage and provide leadership to other staff engaged to assist with the club, ensuring good standards of professional practice

  • Work with all staff to ensure and provide care, play opportunities and activities in a homely, nurturing, and safe environment, with regard to the individual development needs of the children.

  • To lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver high quality creative play opportunities in a safe and caring environment

  • To plan and carry out activities for all the children, ensuring staff: child ratios are adhered to, including trips and outings

  • Liaise with the school with regard to the needs of the children who attend the club
  • To liaise with parents to encourage parental involvement and support
  • Ensure children are treated with respect and courtesy, setting a positive role model
