We are looking to appoint an experienced and hard-working person to lead, manage and actively participate in the day-to-day organisation of the After School and Holiday Club, providing safe, stimulating and high-quality provision.
The successful person will be required to:
To lead the day-to-day management and organisation of the After School & Holiday Club
To line manage and provide leadership to other staff engaged to assist with the club, ensuring good standards of professional practice
Work with all staff to ensure and provide care, play opportunities and activities in a homely, nurturing, and safe environment, with regard to the individual development needs of the children.
To lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver high quality creative play opportunities in a safe and caring environment
To plan and carry out activities for all the children, ensuring staff: child ratios are adhered to, including trips and outings
- Liaise with the school with regard to the needs of the children who attend the club
- To liaise with parents to encourage parental involvement and support
- Ensure children are treated with respect and courtesy, setting a positive role model
