We are currently looking for energetic, confident and sociable person with an eye for detail to join our team. We work to high standards and work hard to ensure that they are maintained, taking pride in going the extra mile whenever possible.
You will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness is achieved and maintained throughout our school.
You will be required to:
Comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work regulations. To take reasonable care for the Health and Safety of him/herself and for others affected by his/her work, and to co-operate with the employer in ensuring that Health and Safety responsibilities are carried out.
Undertake any relevant training as required.
Clean specified areas of the school to the required standard, as instructed: - Washing floors, surfaces, fixtures and fittings and walls up to a safe standing height
Sweeping and vacuuming floors, Polishing and dusting surfaces and furniture
Ensuring all chemicals are used and stored safely according to COSHH regulations
Previous experience in the cleaning industry would be beneficial; however, training will be given. You should show trustworthiness and reliability and be able to work as part of a team and alone without supervision. If you have an interest in this post we would love to hear from you.
