Homefirst is a Hoople support service run in partnership with Herefordshire Council to enable people to live independently in their own homes.

As a Support Worker within Homefirst, your role will be exciting and varied – you could be delivering rehabilitation programmes, demonstrating mobility aids and supporting people to leave hospital all within the same day!

This role with Homefirst is a great opportunity to work in a team who are doing meaningful work supporting the local community whilst taking advantage of a whole range of benefits which include:

  • Salary range - £16265.00 - £18759.00
  • Paid mileage – up to 45p per mile
  • 25 annual leave days + bank holidays (30 days after 5 years)
  • Buy/sell annual leave
  • Sick pay – between 1 to 3 months full pay dependent on length of service
  • TOIL and paid overtime
  • Uniform and mobile phone included

Experience working in health or social care is beneficial but not essential as all training will be included free of charge as part of a comprehensive induction programme, with ongoing opportunities for further career development. Access to a car is essential.

Homefirst Support Workers cover a shift pattern which includes early, late and weekend shifts.
