Clair started her career as a support worker at a residential school in Herefordshire, where she later completed a teacher training qualification. This led to her eventually working for the local authority, where she delivered nationally recognised qualifications for the learning disability sector. From 2008, Clair worked in the private sector, supporting organisations with their workforce development. This included seeking and funding training and, thanks to her knowledge in the subject, Clair built up a reputation for her expertise and insight.
In 2017 Clair joined the Hoople team as a level 5 tutor/assessor/IQA (internal quality assurance), and has since taken on the delivery of level 2 and 3 Institute of Leadership and Management and bespoke training, including LEP funded modules for SME businesses. A key member of the team, she carries a vast wealth of knowledge and is always driven in her work by her passion for promoting dignity in care.
