Cleaner in Charge

We are looking for a proactive and positive individual with excellent communication skills who has experience of working in a cleaning role or is willing to learn. Additional training will be given for the right candidate. You will have an ability to be flexible to increase hours occasionally when a project requires it.

This important post requires initiative, flexibility, patience and the ability to work under pressure.  You will work as part of an effective and friendly site team who are all committed to their part in maintaining a safe and clean site for our students and staff. You will be a key holder and be responsible for assisting the Site Manager in managing the cleaning team and securing the site at the end of the day (usually 6pm).

The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
