We currently have a vacancy for an SEN Level 1 Teaching Assistant (15 hours per week) at St Weonards Academy
Candidates will ideally have:
- Have a Certificate in Learning Support (or equivalent).
- Have experience of working with children on both a 1:1 and whole class basis.
- Be firm and consistent in their approach
- Be able to enthuse and inspire children
- Be flexible, creative and able to use initiative
- Be able to ensure progress by offering appropriate challenge and maintaining high expectations
- Have excellent interpersonal skills with pupils, staff, parents and other professionals.
