The governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant within a Key Stage 2 class.  This role also incorporates some lunchtime cover.  

Holmer C E Academy invites applications for an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team. We are seeking a caring individual who has a genuine passion for education and possesses the skills to foster a nurturing learning environment for our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, Teaching Assistant who:

  • Understands the importance of relationships and is committed to fostering strong relationships with pupils
  • Enjoys working with children and has high expectations for their behaviour, and personal development
  • Is a strong communicator and team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • The post holder will assist the classroom teacher and work with small groups of children, to support their learning needs.
  • Values the Christian ethos of our academy and fosters a caring and supportive environment.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn.
  • Has a good understanding of the Literacy and Mathematics curriculum
  • Will work closely with the class teacher to ensure that the needs of all children are met effectively.
