We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and committed Nursery Assistant at Lord Scudamore Nursery.

In addition, a 2.5 hour Childrens Superintendent post to run alongside.

Candidates will ideally:

  • Have previous experience of working within a Nursery setting
  • Hold an Early Years Care and Education qualification, NVQ Level 2-3 or equivalent
  • Want to make a difference in children's lives from the time they start in Early Years
  • Be able to use your own initiative in developing opportunities for learning;
  • Enjoy being part of a close-knit team who work together with a shared vision of providing the best possible experiences for young children

Herefordshire Marches Federation of Academies is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
