We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and committed Nursery Nurse at Lord Scudamore Academy.
We would welcome applicants who under the direction of the Nursery Manager, will support the education and welfare of the children attending our nursery setting.
Candidates will ideally:
- Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Early Childcare or equivalent;
- Have some experience of supporting children in a nursery setting;
- Be able to raise and sustain high standards in the nursery;
- Be able to use their own initiative in developing opportunities for learning;
- Be someone who has excellent interpersonal skills with pupils, staff and parents;
- Be able to enthuse and inspire children.

The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
