St. Peter’s Primary wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 qualification who will support all key stages and contribute to classroom practice.
It is expected the successful applicant will have:
• An enthusiastic, conscientious, creative and organised Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team
• Experience of working with children
• Experience working in a school setting
• Relevant qualifications
• Flexibility, resilience and the ability to work as a team under the direction of others
• A commitment to creating an exceptionally positive environment for pupils
• A strong commitment to achievement, safeguarding and welfare of all children
• Excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils
• Work closely with classroom teachers to create an inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
• Support pupils' social and emotional development, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
