Stoke Prior is a wonderful school with a fantastic community who work hard to achieve our vision of helping children to be ‘Successful and Proud’. We have four classes and enjoy a rural setting with excellent grounds and access to a superb forest school site.
We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher for a Key Stage 2 (Upper). Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT, we’ll support your development with a comprehensive induction and mentoring programme.
The ability to lead sport and PE across the school would be beneficial.
WHAT WE OFFER:
Three Counties Academy Trust (TCAT) recognises its employees as the most important asset and critical to its success. To demonstrate this all staff are offered the following benefits:
• Collaborative working to support our endeavours to work smarter and achieve an effective balance between home and work.
• A supportive ethos and concern for the well-being of all colleagues.
• A successful ECT support program and new staff mentoring
• Excellent CPD opportunities and career progression.
• Membership to the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (TPS).
• Access to Spectrum Life
Visits to the school by prior appointment are warmly welcomed.
Three Counties Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
