An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of the Mental Health Support Teams in Schools
known as the Wellbeing and Emotional Support Teams (WEST).
As a Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner candidates will be qualified Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners (CWP) with experience of working with children and young people, their families and liaising with a wide variety of agencies and stakeholders.
The role is based in our Herefordshire Team (base will be confirmed at interview) and a core function of the Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner role is to provide 1:1/group low intensity CBT evidence-based interventions in an educational setting. It is essential that candidates can meet the travel requirements of the post.
The service is across Herefordshire and Worcestershire schools to provide early help for Children and Young People ages 5 - 18 experiencing mental health problems.
As a service we are supportive, share knowledge, learn from our experiences, have attractive training packages, comprehensive induction making the work place a good place to be.
The service operates Monday - Friday 9 - 5, multi professional working.
