Hours: 16 hours per week – 2 shifts
Shift options: 17:00 – 01:00 and 01:00 – 09:00
Pay: £12.54 per hour, with additional 30% for unsocial hours between 9pm and 9am.
Vennture provides emergency temporary accommodation at the Merton Hotel in Commercial Road in Hereford.
About the Role
These roles provide warden cover for the hotel, overnight from Monday to Friday and 24 hour cover at weekends, ensuring guests are safeguarded and the terms of the stay is adhered to. You will be a welcoming presence, ensuring all guests are kept safe and the building is secure, respected and a safe place.
There may be some responsibility for managing bookings and room allocations whilst on duty, along with general upkeep and health and safety duties as they arise as well as dealing with any emergencies that may occur.

· You are considerate, caring and non-judgemental
· You have a good understanding of the issues faced by those experiencing homelessness
· You are self-motivated and can manage your time effectively; prioritising different areas of work according to needs and deadlines.
· You are reliable and committed and willing to work to a common goal
· You are practical and hard-working
· You are happy to work nights and be alert at all times and be available for vital support and assistance
Training will be provided, as necessary, to ensure you feel confident to fulfil all aspects of the role.
