The Role
Almeley Primary School & Little Elms Nursery is a warm and caring village school and nursery, set in idyllic rural north-west Herefordshire, 6 miles from the market town of Kington. It aims to provide children with firm foundations based on a strong values system and covering a deep and broad curriculum.
The Acting Head Teacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a Teaching/Nursery Assistant to ideally start after the Easter holiday 2024, working mainly with our Reception/KS1 class and children in our on-site nursery. The position will also include supervising our breakfast club and lunch times with children aged 2 to 11 years. There may also be the opportunity to cover additional hours. The successful candidate will need to be flexible, patient and diplomatic and enjoy working as part of a team. Knowledge of teaching Read, Write Inc. phonics would be desirable.
