The Governors would like to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant level 1 to work with 3 children across KS2. Academic support is needed for all of the children and hours are split throughout the week. Please see details below in respect of the job description and person specification.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a good understanding of child development with the ability to apply proven strategies which contribute to a purposeful learning environment.
- Has a high standard of general education including good proven numeracy and literacy skills
- Has relevant experience of working with children with a range of needs within a learning environment.
- Be able to work calmly under pressure with the ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing circumstance/situations.
- An ability to work confidentially, efficiently and on their own initiative.
