The Governors would like to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant to work on a 1-2 basis with two children in Year 2/3 in need of additional learning support.
We will be offering a fixed-term contract that is linked to the children.
We are looking for:
·Experience with children with additional needs.
·The ability to work alongside teachers and other colleagues from outside agencies
·A commitment to inclusive practice and an ability to support children to be included in all activities on their learning journeys.
·To work confidentially, efficiently and use your own initiative.
·Flexibility, resilience and have the ability to work as part of a team under the direction of the SENCO and class teacher.
·Excellent communication skills and a can do attitude.
·Ability to deliver the child’s intervention programmes maintaining careful progress records and providing feedback to the class teacher.
·Willingness to attend meetings and training.
