Ivington CE Primary and Pre-school is a happy, caring, inclusive environment, where children are enthusiastic about learning and enjoy coming to school.

We are looking for a Pre-school Assistant to help provide safe, high-quality education and care for pre-school children.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, energetic and dedicated staff member for this post who:
• Has a passion for early years’ education
• Has a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Can promote the work of the Pre-school within the community
• Is highly motivated and able to act on their own initiative
• Has a willingness to train for an Early Years qualification
• Is able to demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and will be able to communicate with and
motivate children effectively
• Is patient, good humoured and flexible
• Enjoys being part of a hardworking and committed team
• Will support the school’s Christian ethos and policies

Ivington CE (VA) Primary and Pre-school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE.
