The Gateway Federation Governors are seeking to appoint a friendly, engaging person to run our After School Club at Lea Primary School, on a Monday and Friday.
We are looking for someone who has an enthusiastic approach to caring for, and entertaining children, from both our school and nursery; to encourage them to engage in meaningful and constructive activities, and to deal with emergencies that may occur. The successful candidate needs to be able to manage behaviour, to think on their feet, and multi-task, as they may be caring for children aged from 2 to 11. They will also need to have (or undertake training for) a Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
Our Afterschool Club runs from 3.15pm – 5.30pm, five days a week.
Initially the role will be paid for 4 hours per week, from 3.00 -5.00pm; on days where we have children booked in until 5.30pm the extra time is to be claimed as overtime. Possible extra hours may be required for cover.
