We are a small Primary and Pre-School.
Your role as Cleaner will be to provide a clean and pleasant environment to facilitate the effective use of the school by those staff and pupils that occupy it.
Your role as Childrens Superintendent will be to set up, manage and clear away at lunchtimes. You will need to complete a Level 2 Food Hygiene course when you take up the post.
Working Hours
Cleaner
16 hours per week (3 hours per day Mon-Thurs early morning or after school, 4 hours Friday evening or weekend, flexible)
Childrens Superintendent
10 hours per week (2 hours per day Mon-Fri 11:30 - 1:30)
Longtown Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
