Job details
Start Date: May 2026 (To be discussed at interview).
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to support, under the direction of the Head and other designated teachers and professionals, the education and welfare of a pupil with special educational needs.
The main duties and responsibilities include supporting the educational, medical and social needs of the pupil and promoting their independence.
The successful candidate will support the principles and ethos of the school and be willing to receive appropriate training.
Previous experience of working with children with complex needs would be a distinct advantage.
The position is dependent upon the child remaining at St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School.
