Job details
Westfield School is a vibrant, nurturing all‑through 2-19 specialist school for pupils with Complex, Severe, and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (SLD/PMLD) in the heart of Leominster, North Herefordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team in the Sixth Form and KS4 working in partnership with the Head of Sixth Form to design, plan and deliver suitable learning experiences that consolidate and transfer skills students have developed throughout their school journey, in preparation for a successful adulthood. We are committed to providing an ambitious, engaging, and personalised curriculum that helps every student flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.
“Pupils thrive at Westfield School. They value the positive relationships they have with staff. Staff are nurturing and caring, and, in turn, pupils are kind to each other. Pupils feel safe and so they are willing to try new things. The school makes sure that pupils are known in their community. Pupils are taught to use the local leisure centre, library, cafes and shops. Older pupils attend local work experience placements. Pupils are prepared well for adulthood.”
